  • Raw files dont have a choice of Image Size
  • Larger files=Better quality prints
  • JPEG compresses files
  • ISO determines a digital camera's sensitivity to light. (film speed for manual film cameras)
  • Lower ISO needs more light. Finer detail with lover ISO
  • Higher ISO=more noise
  • White balnce determines the cameras ability to record an image with an accurate balance.
  • color temperature=color of the light.
  • color temperature is measured in Kelvins
  • lower temperatures refer to light that is warmer and visa versa
  • candelight>brightest (lowest temp) Overcast>dullest (highest temp)
  • Setting White Balance tells the camera what type of light there is.
  • Small Fstop=large hole=small depth of feil visa versa
  • Full Auto Mode SUCKS
  • So does program mode
  • Aperature Priority is semiautomatic. You choose Fstop. acmera chooses shutter speed.
  • Shutter priority is opposit.
  • Manual mode> do both yourself
